WrenchVerse

Every car has a story.
Some of it should be provable.

WrenchVerse is an audited history and provenance record for vehicles - every serious job reviewed and sealed by a human auditor before it counts. Alongside it lives The Bond: a quieter space for the car you keep because you love it, not because it's worth anything.

WHAT WRENCHVERSE ACTUALLY DOES

Audited job history

Owners and verified mechanics submit completed work. An auditor reviews it before it's sealed onto the car's permanent record - so a "verified" badge actually means something.

Status checks

Theft and write-off/salvage status, pulled with honest coverage notes rather than a false sense of certainty about what a database can and can't see.

Memory lane

Every vehicle passport renders its own generated track - a visual timeline of jobs and care, shaped by the car's own history.

HOW IT WORKS
1

Submit the job

An owner or a verified mechanic logs what was done - description, odometer reading, date, and how serious the work was.

2

A human reviews it

Every submission sits in the auditor queue until someone actually looks at it - approved and sealed, or flagged back with notes.

3

It's sealed to the passport

Sealed history doesn't get quietly edited later - it becomes part of the permanent, append-only record for that VIN.

TWO PRODUCTS, ONE PLATFORM
TRUST & MARKETPLACE

For the car with a resale future

Full audit trail, status checks, and a trust score built from sealed, reviewed history - the record a buyer would actually want to see before handing over money.

THE BOND

For the car you're not selling

Care logs, streaks, and a road that's just yours and your car's - no trust score, no marketplace pressure, just a low-friction way to remember every wash, every wax, every small act of upkeep.

BUILT FOR SOUTH AFRICAN ROADS

Local VIN coverage, honestly labelled

Status checks blend NHTSA data with a community-reported overlay for vehicles that never show up in US-centric databases - and we say so, rather than implying a completeness we don't have.

POPIA-conscious by default

Device identifiers are salted and hashed before they ever touch storage. Theft and fraud exposure shaped how provenance is recorded here, not bolted on afterward.

FAQ
Does WrenchVerse need a mechanic to be "verified" before I can log a job? +

No - owners can submit jobs themselves. Verified-mechanic submissions and owner submissions both go through the same audit queue before anything is sealed.

What's the difference between The Bond and the trust score? +

The Bond is for cars you're keeping - care logs and streaks, no score attached. The trust score only applies on the marketplace side, built from sealed, audited history.

Can a sealed record be edited later? +

No. Once an auditor approves a submission it's appended to the permanent record for that VIN - that's the whole point of an audit trail.
